Payment
All payments are handled by Shopify Payments. We accept all Visa Debit, MasterCard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, Klarna, Partial.ly and Paypal Credit payments (international customers). William Wood Watches never store or transfer any credit card information.  

VAT is included for orders within European Union. VAT and/or fees for import and/or customs are not included for orders outside the European Union.

Brexit Update

Since the United Kingdom has left the Europe Union we have noticed customers being charged higher custom / duty fees in some EU countries. Please be aware that any customs or duty tax is liable to be paid by the customer and not William Wood Watches Ltd. The shipping fee we charge at the checkout is collected to pay the courier fee (UPS) and doesn’t not cover any potential custom or duty taxes liable. Please check with your local government what taxes may apply to your import.

Partial.ly is open to international customers only and allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal interest free payments. Once you have made your 2nd of 3 payments your purchase will be dispatched.

Delivery
We always aim to dispatch your order within 3 - 5 days. All UK orders are sent through the Royal Mail. All International orders are sent via UPS. We always aim to provide you with your shipping tracking number within 3 - 5 days of ordering your watch. Holidays and/or other circumstances might interfere and/or delay shipments. In areas where Royal Mail / UPS does not delivery we reserve the right to use another carrier. ​Transport Damage

If your product is damaged when delivered, you should (without delay and no later than 7 days after delivery) contact us as well as the Delivery Company. You will need to inform us what is damaged and also let us know the case number of the Delivery Company’s claim form. We will naturally send you a new product to replace the damaged one as soon as we can.

Warranty
Warranty for our watches is 3 years from the date you receive your watch and 12 months for your straps. Please note that the warranty does not cover the life of the battery or normal wear and tear of the case and strap. The warranty does not cover any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal use, lack of care, negligence, accidents, incorrect use of the watch and non-observance of the directions provided by William Wood Watches.

Returns
A product which been purchased as buy now from our online store can be returned for a full refund or store credit within 30 days of delivery, provided it is returned in it's original condition and packaging. 

IMPORTANT: Please note that any Bronze Watch that has been worn in chlorinated water (swimming pool) or in sea salt (ocean, sea) cannot be returned. As soon as sea salt or chlorinated water touches the bronze case it will start to oxidise and the watch is therefore not resale-able. 

We offer free and easy returns for all of our customers, domestic and international orders over £50. Please contact Customer Support on info@williamwoodwatches.com to schedule the return. Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any items which are classed as a pre-order (not dispatched within 3 - 5 days of purchase) cannot be refunded until the watch is received and dissatisfaction confirmed. As soon as a pre-order is placed and payment is taken, we order the components required to build the watch and incur cost immediately.

For international customers with orders under £50, the customer is responsible for the return shipping. Once we receive it back and verify it’s unworn, the return will be processed and a full refund will be issued.

Personal Information
We collect basic personal information about our customers when an order is placed. This information is securely stored and is necessary to carry out delivery and to contact you as a customer if a problem should arise, or for important news such as new product launches. We will never disclose any such information to third parties.

Mobile Terms of Service

The William Wood Watches mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by William Wood Watches (“William Wood Watches”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to William Wood Watches’ SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of William Wood Watches through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with William Wood Watches. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18339941227 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other William Wood Watches mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

Cancellations
Under the Distance Contracts you as a consumer have the right to cancel your purchase without specific reason, within 14 days after you received the goods. You will receive a full refund on the condition that the product is unused and returned in its original packaging.
