When preparing for a night on the town, there really is something to be said about finding style accessories that have a high-class appeal while still conveying a bit about your unique personality. Having a keen understanding of balancing beautiful design with rugged characteristics, William Wood of London is able to do just that, and their Valiant Collection Red Watch is a superb example of luxury design in an approachable package.
The 41mm stainless steel diving watch utilizes a Swiss ETA automatic movement and features numerous design queues inspired by the British firefighting livery, including a crown inset cast from an original 1920’s brass firefighters helmet and straps cut from retired Angus Duraline British fire hoses that actually fought flames. Super-LumiNova markings provide a clear definition of the indices, hands, and bezel. Furthermore, its 100m water-resistance depth and a durable model 2824 movement mean that the Valiant will perform no matter how treacherous conditions get. With the production limited to a run of only 250 uniquely-serialized units, William Wood donates part of the profits from these watches to international firefighting charities.
