For the first time in our company’s history we have designed and built two watches simultaneously with a common theme.

Our Fire Watch is designed to look like the watch is on fire. Our Extinguisher Watch looks like the fire has been extinguished. Can’t decide which is your favourite? Purchase our gift set which includes both watches and a complimentary additional stainless steel bracelet.

UNIQUE LAYERED

HIGHLY FLAMMABLE DIAL

For the past few years we have been wanting to design a watch that looks like it is on fire, and a watch that looks extinguished. For both watches we have used a new dial technology which includes layer and texturing. The result is a dial that looks it is genuinely on fire with flames that move when you look through the edges of the double domed sapphire crystal.

To cool down the tones of the case we designed an all stainless steel bezel with orange filled markers.

The back of the seconds hand is the unverisal highly flammable symbol which lumes up at night.

NIGHT MODE

FLAMMABLE LUME CASEBACK

We have produced a closed stainless steel caseback and embossed the steel with the universally recognised highly flammable symbol. The symbol is finished in lume, which means when the caseback is charged with natural light it will illuminate. This is a new technique showcasing the beauty of the watch both in light and darkness.

STAINLESS STEEL OPTION

Our New Fire Extinguisher Collection looks incredible unique on our stainless steel bracelet option. The bracelet is made from 316L grade stainless steel as features quick-release lugs allowing you to easily add and remove your bracelet.

We also include additional links so that the bracelet can be perfectly sized to your wrist.

WHITE PEARLESCENT

EXTINGUISHER FOAM DIAL

We are very proud of this watch, and you will understand why, when the pearl white and silver layered dial hits the sun for the first time. We designed the dial to look like it had been sprayed with foam from a fire extinguisher. The dial is not only rough, but it is layered creating an incredibly real foam aesthetic.

The hour and minute hands are the handles located on the top of a fire extinguisher bottle, and the seconds hand is the nozzle used to spray the foam.

To cool down the tones of the case we designed an all stainless steel bezel with silver filled markers.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER

NOZZLE & GRIP HANDS

A fire extinguisher, universally recognised and seen in most buildings around the world is what gave us inspiration for this watch.

The hour hand is the short grip handle. The minute hand is represented by the long grip handle on the top of the bottle. The pressure gauge is located in the centre of the dial. The nozzle used to direct the foam is our seconds hands. As the nozzle moves aroud the dial it looks like it is spraying the watch with foam.

We have really pushed the boundaries this time with a genuine Italian leather watch presentation box inspired by a fire alarm. This unboxing will set your mind alight. The box is the perfect travel companion size and has a real wow factor when unboxing your new watch.

100 YEAR OLD UPCYCLED

BRITISH BRASS FIREFIGHTER’S HELMET

We take an original British brass firefighter’s helmet, worn by firefighters in the 1920’s, melt it down and place it inside of our watch cases. We set the upcycled brass either inside of our watch crowns or forge it into a commemorative coin that sits inside the caseback of our watches. We are very proud to honour firefighters both past and present by having real firefighting history beating through every William Wood watch.

JOURNEY FROM FIRE TO WRIST

FIRE HOSE STRAPS

Fire hose is a beautiful and rugged material. But sadly the majority of fire hose makes its way into landfill, which can take up to 100 years to decompose. We wanted to give this incredible material, full of history and heroism, a new life on someones wrist. Fire services around the world donate their decommissioned fire hose to us and we upcycle them in our luxury watch straps. It is an incredibly tough process that we have perfected over the years. The result is a unique, elegant, and above all, comfortable watch strap. Each cut of fire hose that we use in our straps is completely unique to that watch owner, with its own texture, patina and story to tell. We had no idea just how many fire hose colours were used around the world. An exciting part of our journey has been sourcing this unique colours just for you.
