Customisation: This is a one-time only customised timepiece created in partnership with The Fire Fighters Charity. We have printed the charity’s unique logo onto the glass caseback and etched the limited edition engraving number 999/XXX representing the 3 numbers to dial to contact the UK emergency services.

Bidding starts at £2,150 with bids being accepted in increments of £200. The winner will be the person with the largest bid when the hammer goes down on Thursday 6th May 2021. We will ask the winner to transfer the funds to us within 48 hours of the auction closing which we will then forward directly onto The Fire Fighters Charity. The watch is currently in production and will be delivered to the winner in September 2021.

Welcome to William Wood Watches - Triumph Collection - our most prestigious watch yet. A fully stainless steel Swiss-Made Chronograph series equipped with a Swiss Sellita SW510 2-eye chronograph movement, push button stop watch and 6pm date window. Available in 3 outstanding colours; Heat Edition (Red), Oxygen Edition (Blue) and Fuel Edition (White), which together create the 3 elements needed to start a fire.

With sub dials that take inspiration from the dashboard gauges within a fire engine cockpit. Reminiscent of pressure pumps, the sub hands are finished in red, blue or gold to match the main chronograph stop watch hand in all colour variances, shaped in the style of a vintage fire bell chime. The chronograph stop watch and 30 minute sub dial is operated by the antique brass finished buttons located on the side of the case designed to match the crown which is forged from an original 1920's British brass firefighters helmet.

We have created a one of kind custom caseback inspired by a fire alarm. With a look through viewing glass, custom red SW510 movement and sandwhich plate reading 'In case of fire break glass', this is one of our proudest inventions yet.

Each watch is engraved with a limited edition caseback engraving between 1 - 250 so that you know you are the owner of something special indeed. Plus the Swiss-Made authenticity markings are etched into the caseback ring and printed on the dial located at 6pm.

Here at William Wood Watches we love to create an incredible unboxing experience, and this is our best yet. Your new William Wood Watches Triumph Collection timepiece comes presented in a luxury genuine Italian red leather presentation box that takes inspiration from a fire alarm. Equipped with a compartment to house both straps and cufflinks that can be accessed through an emergency red pull cord this unboxing experience will set your mind alight. First time ever in William Wood history we have created our very own antique brass William Wood cufflinks which can be added to your order at the checkout page.

Sub Dials - Our sub dials are inspired by the dashboard of a fire engine cockpit with hands reminiscent of pressure gauges.

Chronograph Bell Chime - Our stop watch hand takes inspiration from the chime on a vintage fire bell. The hand sweeps over the dial in perfect harmony with the rest of the watch design.

Antique Brass Buttons - Located at the 2pm and 4pm are our chronograph stop watch buttons. Finished in an antique brass to match our crown the contrast between the antique brass buttons and modern stainless steel case is exquisite.

Upcycling - Our crown's are forged from an original 1920's British brass firefighters helmet with all craftsmanship carried out by a family ran precious metal specialist in the heart of London . Our straps are made from upcycled British fire hose which have been used by the UK Fire & Rescue Service for over 10 years in live fires. You can still smell the rich smokiness and history in the rubber.

Swiss-Made - Proudly printed onto the watch dial and etched into the caseback are the words Swiss-Made. This is our first creation made in Switzerland.

Rank Markings - At the turn of the century the Fire Brigade was a branch of the Police Force and the rank structure was that of Police. When the Fire Service was made independent of the Police a new rank structure and markings were designed for the uniform. Now rankings of a firefigher can be seen on their uniform collar. The two stripe indices located at the 12 on the watch face represent the markings a Crew Manager would have on his or her uniform collar.

Checkered Markings - Printed around the perimeter of the dial is the exact checkered markings design from the side of a British fire engine which have been picked up and dropped onto our Triumph Collection watch face in an understated yet complimentary way.

Super-LumiNova - We wanted this to be a watch that you could wear everyday. No matter what the job! By having Super-LumiNova on the sub-dials, indices, hands and bezel you can follow the time no matter how dark your environment may be.

Water Resistant (100m) - You have the ability to dive up to 100m without any fear of water damage. You can confidently wear your watch in the swimming pool or in the shower without giving it a second thought.

We make all our watches from scratch in our workshop using genuine upcycled firefighting materials sourced from around the UK. We keep you updated by email on the production of your watch right through to delivery. In addition, your purchase drives a donation to The Fire Fighters Charity in the UK which genuinely reaches firefighters and their families.
